Review Summer Party 2023
- Department
The research focus on digital teaching of the Department of Machine Elements was presented at this year's summer festival with the help of virtual reality.
At two booths, interested people could inform themselves about the work of the Department of Machine Elements and enter virtual reality themselves.
At the first booth, the AssistME project, which is part of Innovative Teaching, was presented, where machine elements could be assembled in a VR environment. The second booth challenged rhythm and dexterity with the VR game Beat Saber.
AssistME briefly introduced
Engineering students often face spatial and functional challenges when designing gears. Our solution: artificial intelligence inter-prets engineering drawings and generates 3D models. Immerse yourself in fascinating VR environments and experience motion simulations. Understand the functions of machines simply and vividly.
Innovative teaching
For more than ten years now, the Department of Machine Elements has been involved in the structured preparation, presentation and transfer of knowledge within the framework of research projects and its own teaching.
